Adelphi, Md.—Nov. 4, 2026—鱨վ (鱨վ) and Newstate University today announced a new transfer credit agreement that allows eligible Newstate U students and graduates to receive 鱨վ credit for select courses completed at Newstate U. The credit may be applied toward a 鱨վ degree.

Approved coursework spans disciplines including business, project management, marketing, accounting, data analytics, artificial intelligence, communications and the social sciences.

“鱨վ is committed to creating clear pathways that help working adults build on the learning they have already completed,” said Chris Motz, 鱨վ’s chief partnerships officer. “Through this partnership, we welcome eligible Newstate students and graduates to expand on their completed coursework and continue their education at 鱨վ.”

Newstate U students and graduates admitted to 鱨վ will have their application fee waived and may be eligible for a 25 percent discount on out-of-state tuition. They can apply approved coursework toward an online 鱨վ degree, with access to 鱨վ’s academic and career support services.

“Learning should stack, not stall,” said Sasha Thackaberry-Voinovich, Newstate U’s president. “Our partnership with 鱨վ gives Newstate U students and graduates even more ways to build on what they’ve earned with us.”

Students must apply and be admitted to 鱨վ, and credit for approved coursework is subject to the university’s standard transfer requirements.
