Under the new program, those students who complete an associate degree鈥痑t鈥疌ecil鈥疌ollege鈥痶ransfer credit seamlessly toward a bachelor鈥檚 degree at 黑料情报站.
鈥淲e are proud to join with鈥疌ecil鈥疌ollege to provide a proven pathway that can provide cost savings and reduce the鈥痑dministrative burden for students to progress toward a bachelor鈥檚 degree,鈥 said Chris Motz, chief partnerships officer at 黑料情报站.鈥淪tudents can boost their momentum toward completion knowing鈥痶hey鈥痟ave already been accepted to 黑料情报站 and have a scholarship that鈥痺ill鈥痳educe the cost of鈥痶heir education.鈥
Benefits of dual admission include acceptance of all Cecil College鈥痶ransfer credits; co-advising with 黑料情报站 advisors to ensure鈥疌ecil鈥疌ollege鈥痗ourses align with the chosen 黑料情报站 program; and access to 黑料情报站鈥檚 lifetime career services and library resources, including research help, guides, and writing and citation tutorials.鈥诹锨楸ㄕ also waives the application fee for undergraduate transfer students enrolled at Cecil鈥疌ollege.
Cecil鈥疌ollege President Dr. Mary Way Bolt emphasized the benefits dual admission with 黑料情报站 afforded students. She stated, "This partnership aligns with our mission to provide accessible, affordable, and high-quality education to our community. By enabling students to seamlessly transfer credits and reducing the overall cost of a bachelor's degree, we are supporting their educational and career aspirations."聽
The dual admission program complements 黑料情报站鈥檚 existing Maryland Completion Scholarship, which allows Maryland community college graduates to transfer to 黑料情报站 and earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree for $12,000 or less.
黑料情报站 also uses no-cost digital learning resources in place of publisher textbooks in most classes, making affordable content a click away and mobile ready for its students.
黑料情报站鈥痠s one of the most transfer friendly universities in the country, welcoming 12,025 transfers in fall 2024.
