When will I receive my financial aid?
To receive student loans, you must be in at least 6 credits in a degree program. Here's when aid is typically disbursed:
- Federal Loans: Up to 10 days before your class starts. Disbursements happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Federal Pell Grant & FSEOG: 5-10 days after your class begins. Federal Pell Grants disburse based on your active enrollment at the time.
- Scholarships & Other Grants: Usually 10 days before the session starts, once you meet the required enrollment.
Important: Disbursements for the Summer 2026 term will occur later than the standard timeline due to required federal system updates. Federal financial aid will be applied to your student account as soon as federal processing becomes available and Federal loans will be disbursed at the earliest of eight days after the start of the class that marks your active half-time enrollment status. Â
